...and let it begin with my first cousin Brenda K, an executive at AT&T in downtown St. Louis, who took this great shot of the controversial Serra Sculpture from her office window. It captures a co-worker's inspired snowprints.

The winter light receding and the peace sign destined for shadow... it's all metaphor! I asked Cousin Brenda if I could post this on WaltNow, and she said: "Sure. What is a WaltNow?"
Actually, she said:
"...Yes, please do. Just be sure that my credit is funny. HA! I got a digital camera a few years ago and I've been having a ball with it. When I take interesting photos I will pass them on to you for your critiquing.
I went on waltnow and I laughed and laughed. Expecially at your high school picture. You were such a geek.
That's okay, so was I. When I was in high school I didn't even know what a "birthday suit" was. I was continually embarrassed by my "dorkness". When we had our 25 year class reunion (I graduated in 1969) I was the MC and my first words were: "Who did not know what 69 meant when we were in high school, raise their hand." I raised my hand and no one else did so I said "Well thanks for telling me! When I finally realized what 69 meant years later I would tell everyone "Yeah, I graduated in 1969, yeah, I'm a 69er". And everyone cracked up. I was just very naive to say the least. Actually, I still am. HA!" - Brenda.
Thanks, cousin! Isn't she the greatest? Brenda is among the funniest of my funny fam. She should have her own show. No, really.
P.S. Have a peaceful New Year, all! That is my fondest wish for you and yours.
